Italian Institute For Classical Studies
Lingua Ecclesiae is the first intensive summer Latin course specifically designed for ecclesiastics.
Students will be hosted at the Casa per ferie Mater Mundi, run by the Augustinian Sisters of Divine Love. Pedagogi cal activities are accompanied by the daily celebration of the Liturgy.
To favour the students’ rapid and solid learning, all courses are conducted directly in Latin, just like all other daily activities: Latin is the only language of communication within the residence throughout the entire month of stay.
Pedagogical activities are subdivided into those that are part of the curriculum (where participation is required) and those that are optional.
